MM Award 2022 - REGIUS-3015AJe

AMADA wins EuroBLECH 2022 MM Award

AMADA CO., LTD. (Isehara, Kanagawa , Japan, President: Tsutomu Isobe ) received the MM Award at EuroBLECH 2022, the world’s largest trade fair for the sheetmetal working industry, which was held in Hanover, Germany, on October 25. The MM Award is presented by “MM MaschinenMarkt,” Germany’s most prestigious manufacturing industry magazine, and is meant to recognize leading and innovative products in the metalworking industry. The product which won this award is the REGIUS-3015AJe, a fiber laser machine that allows anyone to perform high-speed and high-quality processing. At present, there is an increasing need for improved productivity and simplified setup and operation at sheetmetal processing manufacturing sites in order to respond to ever-increasing demand for greater precision, shorter delivery times, and the passing on processing technology (to the next generation). The REGIUS-3015AJe continues the functionality of the previous REGIUS-AJ Series while achieving a smoother cutting surface than ever before thanks to newly developed beam control technology, allowing both high speeds and high quality.

In addition, it is equipped with the newly developed AMNC 4ie NC unit. By automatically activating the operator screen in the proper language in accordance with the role of each operator through recognizing the operator’s face, it evolves into the machine which anyone could operate regardless of skill level. Furthermore, the machine can be operated remotely from a mobile device, allowing not only for remote monitoring of the status of the machine, but also centralized management of materials, scheduling, and processing, and enabling a single person to operate multiple machines. The MM Award has been awarded by public vote since 2022, and the REGIUS-3015AJe received support from numerous customers. AMADA will continue to contribute to manufacturing by solving customer’s issues and needs with our differentiated processing technology.
